FedEx Cargo plane crashed at Tokyo Narita Airport

A FedEx freighter plane crashed into a runway and burst into flame while attempting to land at Tokyo's Narita International Airport on Monday. Both American pilot and co-pilot was killed instantly. Investigators believe that the wind shear or a sudden gust of wind was the cause of the crash.

Questions were also raised on the safety record of the MD-11 (McDonnell Douglas) which has a tendency to be unstable during landing.

The aircraft was originated from FedEx's hub in Guangzhou, China. The plane bounce after its initial touch down and skipped along the main runway before flipping over and coming to a fiery halt.
