Deadliest Air Crash in Pakistan


Islamabad, Pakistan - Wednesday, 28th July 2010
An Airbus A321 plane operates by Airblue suspect veered off course in monsoon rains and thick clouds crashed into Margalla Hill overlooking Pakistan's capital. All 152 passengers and crew were killed.

The plane left the city of Karachi at 0745hours on a two hour flight en-route to Islamabad and was trying to land and lost radio contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC). Airblue is a private airline based in Karachi. The exact cause of the tragedy was not immediately clear.
