Formerly known as Helicopters Hong Kong, established in 1996 and owned by Macau casino entrepreneur Stanley Ho. Hong Kong Express Airways is a regional airline focus on business travelers, linking the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong (S.A.R) to a growing numbers of cities in mainland China. The operation of the regional airline was officially announced on 3rd August 2005 and inaugural service between Hong Kong and Guangzhou was on 8th September 2005. The airline starts its service to Yangon on 2nd November 2007 and Kuala Lumpur on 11th November 2007.
