Vietnam Airlines Tổng Công ty Hàng không Việt Nam - National carrier of Vietnam, operating a growing network of scheduled services from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to destinations throughout Asia, Australia and Europe. The Airline also operate a comprehensive domestic route system.
The Airline is known as Hang Khong Vietnam till April 1989. The Airline was founded in 1976 by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam after re-unification, it also took over the asset of Air Vietnam which had operated in the South since 1 October 1951.
