Atlas Air

Major cargo airline providing scheduled freight flights on contract to other airlines, usually on an ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) wet-lease basis, serving more than 100 cities in 46 countries. Charter flights for commercial organizations and the U. S. military are also undertaken. Atlas Air was founded on April 1992 by the late Michael Chowdry, specialize in the long-term outsourcing of its Boeing 747 capacity.
