Founded on 2 November 1949,Air China 中国国际航空公司, national carrier of China, serving mostly regional and international passenger and cargo services from Beijing's Capital Airport to more than 30 cities in Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Other Chinese cities linked into the international network are Dalian, Guangzhou, Kunming, Shanghai and Xiamen. As part of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and adopted its present title on 1 July 1988. It is the major carrier within China National Aviation Holding.
