Kingfisher Airlines


One of the India's newest low-fare airlines, which made its inaugural flight on 7 May 2005, followed by its first commercial flight two days later using an Airbus A320-200 between Mumbai and Delhi. Today, the airline operating 218 flights a day and has an extensive network of 37 destinations.

The airline announced plans to start flights to the USA with Airbus A340 and Airbus A380 aircraft. The airline is owned by the United Breweries Group. (which also owns the popular Indian beer of the same name).

Kingfisher is one of only six airlines in the world to have a five-star rating from Skytrax, along with Asiana Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways.
